UX & Marketing Consultant

Maquillar is an augmented reality studio specializing in creating interactive digital marketing experiences for beauty, fashion and luxury brands.

My background from The Fashion Institute of Technology and Apple made me very interested in augmented reality as a marketing vehicle for brands. 

Maquillar was founded by Sofi Chernyak. Sofi is a veteran makeup artist with nearly a decade of runway and editorial experience. 

I've been involved with Maquillar since the very beginning serving as a UX and marketing consultant.

Sofi and I met at Hunter College while we were both enrolled in the Business Studies Certificate Program.

Since our humble beginnings in Prof. Pollack's class,  Maquillar has grown into into a full-fledged startup. 

The projects we work on reach millions of viewers in the form of branded face filters and virtual try-on.
